Last Friday, TPA announced the return of Delta's new daily route to Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport (AMS), which will begin Oct. 26 and run through March 29, 2025.
The 282-seat Airbus A330-300 will leave Tampa at 7:55 p.m. EST each evening, and will arrive at 10:45 a.m. local time the next morning. Returning flights depart from Amsterdam at 12:35 p.m. local time, and arrive back in Tampa at 4:55 p.m. EST.
Tickets went on sale Saturday, May 4 and start at about $925.
"We’re grateful to Delta for creating a prime European connection through this nonstop service to Amsterdam, which we know will be popular with both Tampa Bay area residents and European travelers looking to experience our sunshine, beaches and other attractions this winter," said Airport CEO Joe Lopano in a statement. "We’re looking forward to supporting the route and continuing a strong partnership with Delta, which always provides a world-class experience for our passengers."
The last time Delta offered direct service between TPA and AMS was 2019.
