A rural cabin that sits along one of the best tubing rivers in Florida is currently on the market.
Located at 28262 29th Loop, in Branford, the river cabin sits on a 2.2-acre lot along the spring-fed Ichetucknee River, which is a popular weekend destination for University of Florida students.
The 1,634-square-foot stilt house comes with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, as well as a wood spiral staircase, cathedral ceilings, a loft, a gas fireplace, a wrap-around porch, a full-house Generac generator, a private three-tier dock, a slate rock fire pit, and more.
But the main attraction here is the floating. The Travel Channel once called the Ichetucknee "Florida's best tubing river," and it's easy to see why.
For the unfamiliar, the Ichetucknee is one of Florida's 33 first magnitude springs, and it pumps out nearly 233 million gallons of crystal clear water per day into the nearby Santa Fe River.
Homes along the river are pretty rare—especially since this blue stretch of water is only six miles long, and half of the river is actually within Ichetucknee Springs State Park, which was named a National Natural Landmark by the U. S. Department of Interior in 1972.
The spring cabin is currently asking $2.5 million, and the listing is Cassie Reardon of Diamond CR Real Estate.
